Community Company provides students with unique performing opportunities throughout Montpelier and the surrounding areas, giving everyone a chance to share their love for dance.
More than just performances, this company is about bringing people together - both in the studio and in the community. |
Who can participate? Dancers ages 10 and above. We are looking for dancers at all levels who are passionate about dance, performance, and building community. No audition required! Just bring your enthusiasm for dance and creative energy. Is your dancer younger than 10 but interested in joining? Please email us at [email protected] for possible exceptions.
Where will we be performing?
Throughout the Montpelier area and surrounding communities. In the 2026-2027 year, we plan to have at least 4 performances throughout the year, including the May 2027 performance at the Barre Opera House.
What is the level of commitment required?
Dancers sign up for Community Company in the fall as they would any other class. A new piece will be created for each performance, combining set choreography with elements of improvisation. All rehearsals will take place at CD&FS.
What is the tuition fee?
$80/month. This fee covers rehearsal time - there may be additional fees throughout the year for costumes. At this time, we cannot offer scholarships for this fee.
