Performance Lab: Stage + Screen is a full-day camp for dancers who love learning choreography, building performance skills, and creating something exciting as a group. Dancers will train in contemporary ballet, contemporary, and jazz while working on musicality, movement quality, spacing, and stage presence. Throughout the week, campers will rehearse, refine, and perform choreography in a supportive environment focused on growth, confidence, and artistry.

In addition to an informal in-studio performance at the end of the week, dancers will participate in a dance video project, exploring how movement can be performed for both a live audience and the camera. The completed video will be shared with families after camp.

Is this camp right for my dancer?
This camp is a great fit for dancers with some dance experience who are ready for a performance-focused week. Campers should be comfortable participating in structured classes, learning choreography, and rehearsing with a group.

Dresscode
For Performance Lab: Stage + Screen, dancers should wear a leotard with tights or leggings for ballet-based technique. Dancers are welcome to change into looser dancewear for contemporary and jazz throughout the day. Ballet shoes and jazz shoes are recommended if available; if not, dancers may participate in socks. Dancers will also be asked to bring specific costume pieces or clothing options for the video shoot, and additional details will be shared closer to the start of camp.

What to Bring
Dancers should bring a labeled water bottle, a healthy nut-free lunch, and a healthy nut-free snack each day. No candy or gum. Campers may also want to bring an extra snack if they tend to get hungry in the afternoon. Send everything in a clearly labeled bag or lunchbox.
