tickets

Tickets will go on sale on March 16th at 3:00 pm through CD&FS. Families may purchase tickets in person, by phone message, or by email. Tickets are assigned seating for our main performances. If you are not selecting your seats in person, we will select the best available seats at the time of purchase.
The Saturday Children’s Matinee is general admission for $10.
A 7% sales tax will be added at checkout. All tickets must be paid for at the time of reservation.
TICKET PRICING: MAIN PERFORMANCES
Adults: $24
Seniors/Students/Active military: $22
Children under 12: $17
*An important note for all families:* The order within our shows has changed from previous years. Please keep the following in mind when purchasing tickets.

Friday: Kids Half + Teen/Adult Half
Saturday matinee: Pre-Primary Ballet, Primary Ballet, & Creative Movement.
Saturday evening: Ballet Half + Kids Half
Sunday: Ballet Half + Teen/Adult Half

Additionally, some of our older junior level classes now perform in the teen/adult half, instead of the kids half. More information on which classes perform when can be found here.

How do I purchase tickets?
CD&FS is handling ticket sales this year. There are 3 ways to purchase tickets: in person, by email, or by voicemail. The front desk is open Monday through Friday 3pm-8pm, and 8:30am-2:30pm on Saturdays. Unfortunately, our phone is still out of service, so we will return voicemails and emails regarding tickets in chronological order. Tickets are first-come, first-served, with in-person sales taking precedence. Any remaining tickets after tech week will be available for purchase at the door.

How much are tickets?
Adults are $24/ea, students/seniors/active military are $22/ea, and children under 12 are $17/ea. Tickets for the Saturday matinee are $10/ea. A 7% sales tax is also added at checkout. Tickets must be paid for at the time of purchase; unpaid reservations are not permitted. If you wish to pay with cash or check, please purchase tickets in person. If left unspecified, tickets will be charged to the main card on the family's Jackrabbit account. Please make sure to specify which rates you need if purchasing over the phone or by email. Tickets are non-refundable.

How do I get my tickets?
If you purchase tickets in person, you'll receive them then. If not, you may visit the front desk during office hours, or pick them up at the show. Keep your tickets in a safe place; we cannot offer replacements or refunds for lost tickets.

Can I choose my seats?
If purchasing tickets in person, you can pick your exact seats! If purchasing over the phone or by email, you may request the orchestra or balcony and a specific section (left, right, or center), and we'll do our best to honor it. If you don't have a specific request, we will choose the best available seats for you. Our Saturday matinee is general seating, and you may reserve a seat in the theater with a jacket or bag when you drop your dancer. You can get an idea of the Barre Opera House seating on their website. Please note that the balcony sides are reserved for dancers and are not available for purchase in most cases.

Do I need to purchase tickets? Are tickets included in the performance fee?
All attendees must purchase tickets, and tickets are not included in your performance fee. We do not automatically reserve any tickets for families.

Can I sit with my student or can my student sit with me?
If your student performs in only one half of any show, they will have supervised seating in the balcony for the other half. No unauthorized people will be allowed in the area, and students may not leave until the show is over. No intermission pickups are allowed.

I have an accessibility need!
We have a few wheelchair accessible seats in the orchestra. Please let us know if you have accessibility needs when purchasing tickets. Please note that the balcony is not wheelchair accessible and has no elevator, and there are 30 steps to the balcony. Bathrooms are available in the balcony.

I didn't realize the show orders shifted and bought tickets for the wrong show!
Please visit the front desk in person. We cannot offer refunds for tickets, but we can help you exchange your seats for the correct show.

Does the show sell out?
We hope it will! Historically, some shows tend to sell out. Because our show orders have changed, it's hard to gauge this year, but typically there are still some tickets available when doors open.
