We are looking to hire passionate dance teachers to join CD&FS for the 2024-2025 Season. You will be responsible for teaching and training your students and ensuring that they are engaged, motivated, and inspired. We are particualry interested in individuals who can teach a range of styles, ages, and level.

- Develop dance curriculums and prepare lesson plans.
- Communicate with a diverse group of teachers and students.
- Engage, encourage, and motivate students to reach their goals.
- Evaluate student performance and make recommendations for improvement and placement for the following year.
- Choreograph dances and select music and costumes for our May performance.
- Conduct private lessons as required.
- Provide a fun and creative environment.
- Keep up to date in your discipline and implement any changes as needed.
Requirements:
- Previous teaching experience required.
- College degree and/or teaching certification preferred.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Energetic, driven, creative, and dependable.
- Demonstrate patience and leadership skills.
- Being aligned with our studio's mentality towards individualism and inclusivity.

COMPENSATION
Teaching rate begins at $35/hr for less experienced teachers. Administrative rate - meetings and performances - is $16/hour. Faculty have access to studio space when it is not in use. |
