Junior Company is our invitation-only performing company for MiddleSchool Students, directed by Isadora Snapp. Company members meet once a week for a 2-hour rehearsal, working closely with Isadora to explore a range of styles: Modern, Jazz, HipHop, Contemporary, and Ballet. Additionally, dancers get to work with Teen Jazz and guest choreographers - both an important part of the experience. Each year, the Company has several performing opportunities at CD&FS and in the community. These opportunities include joining Teen Jazz on their annual Spring Tour, where they perform at local Elementary, Middle, and HighSchools. For more information, see the COMPANY WEBSITE.

AUDITION PROCESS for 2024-2025
Dancers interested in participating in Junior Company for the 2023-2024 must be in 6th, 7th, or 8th grade with a minimum of 2 years of dance experience. (Please contract the Studio for exceptions regarding number of years of dance experience.) In order to register for the Audition Class, fill out the INTEREST FORM.
For new families, a Junior Company Interest Meeting will be held on June 14th with pre-registration required.
The Junior Company Audition Class will take place on August 29th and requires pre-registration. Once the audition class has been completed, dancers selected will receive a letter in the mail with an Invitation to join the Company for the coming year.
