Jazz 3-4
Thursday, 7:30pm - 9pm Isadora Snapp Monthly Tuition: $75 |
This intermediate/advanced jazz class is all about building on a strong technical base while digging deeper into the heart of jazz—movement, music, and individuality. We mix authentic jazz, classic jazz inspired by Bob Boross, and contemporary styles to create a class that’s grounded in tradition but always evolving. Dancers will work on refining technique through challenging combos, exploring rhythm, and moving with full-bodied expression. Improvisation is a big part of what we do—serious play that helps dancers connect to themselves, the music, and each other. We listen to a wide range of jazz music in class, learning to really hear it and respond in the moment.
