Jr Tap 1-2 teaches the basics of tap dance and the art of making rhythms and sounds through ankle and foot articulations. The class will begin with a warm-up at the barre or in the center and continue with progressions across the floor to work on traveling and combining steps.  Combinations will be taught to bring all steps together with multiple rhythms and tempos and provide an opportunity to work on performance skills as you prepare to learn choreography for the end-of-year performance.

Mixed Level Tap is a class that welcomes teens and adults of varying levels to learn the basics and/or build on your previous knowledge of tap dance and the art of making rhythms and sounds through ankle and foot articulations.  This class will offer options for every level, allowing the dancers to progress at their own rate and knowledge base. Class will begin with a warm-up at the barre or in the center and continue with progressions across the floor to work on traveling and combining steps.  Those ready for more complex rhythms, faster tempos, and the addition of turns will have the option to incorporate them throughout class.  Combinations will be taught to bring all steps together with multiple rhythms and tempos and provide an opportunity to work on performance skills as you prepare to learn choreography for the end-of-year performance.
