At Contemporary Dance & Fitness Studio we have a long history of holding our end-of-year performances at the Barre Opera House. Below you will find all of the Performance details for our May 2025 Performance.

how are the performances organized?
There are 3 "halves" to our show schedule. Each half performs twice.
The Ballet Half: Ballet 1 - Ballet 6 and Contemporary Ballet perform in this half.
The Kids Half: All "Kidz" and "Junior" classes perform in this half.
The Adult Half: All classes designated Teen/Adult perform in this half.
The Saturday Matinée is a separate show and will perform once.
PrePrimary Ballet, Primary Ballet, and Creative Movement perform in this show.

Volunteer
Our backstage environment is a carefully choreographed event itself and we are always in need of volunteers for our dress rehearsals and performances. Volunteer positions include being on the backstage headset, helping out in dressing rooms, and sitting with students in the Balcony. Call or stop by the studio in March for more information and to sign up.
Where is the show?

All technical rehearsals, dress rehearsals, and performances are at the Barre Opera House: 6 North Main Street in Barre, Vermont.
Dancers should park in the back parking lot and enter through the ground level back door. Walk up to the 3rd floor, or take the elevator, to the lobby of the Opera House. Assistants or teachers will greet you in the Lobby and direct you on where to go. |
