Ballet and pointe

Placement for our youngest ballet dancers is based on age as well as maturity and skill level. If you are a new student, call the studio for assistance in choosing the appropriate level. Pre-Primary Ballet
Mary Selene
​Saturday, 10am - 10:45am 
● Ages 3.5-5yrs
​Monthly Tuition: $52
Our Pre-Primary Ballet class is designed for young dancers aged 3.5 to 5. This fun and engaging class introduces children to the basics of ballet in a playful and nurturing environment. Through imaginative play, movement-based games, music, and the use of props, dancers will explore beginning ballet positions while developing coordination, balance, and fine motor skills. The class encourages creativity, builds confidence, and fosters a love for movement, laying a joyful foundation for future dance training.

Primary Ballet

Saturday, 9am - 9:45am ● Ages 5-6yrs
​Monthly Tuition: $52
Primary Ballet invites young dancers to explore creativity and musicality while building a strong foundation in ballet technique. Repetition and structure are key at this level, helping dancers develop confidence, coordination, and proper alignment through consistent practice. Each class begins with improvisation and creative movement, followed by a formal center barre warm-up and ballet-based locomotion across the floor. It then finishes with free dance and games to reinforce skills in a playful way. Dancers will continue to learn basic ballet steps and positions, while also practicing important classroom skills like listening, taking turns, and appreciating each other’s work—all in a supportive and engaging environment.

Ballet 1

● Ages 6-8yrs
Monthly Tuition: $60
Ballet 1 is designed for young dancers who are beginning their formal ballet training. Building upon the foundation established in Primary Ballet, this class introduces barre work, simple center exercises, and ballet terminology in a fun and supportive environment. Dancers will develop an understanding of basic ballet positions, practice proper alignment, and learn to count music while moving with the beat. Creativity and self-expression are encouraged throughout, helping each student build confidence and a lasting love for ballet as they grow in both skill and artistry.

Ballet 2  
Sylvan Williams
Saturday, 2:15pm - 3:15pm 
● Ages 7-8yrs
​Monthly Tuition: $60
Ballet 2 builds on the fundamental techniques introduced in Ballet 1 while also welcoming new students to the world of ballet. This class begins with a thorough warm-up to prepare the body for movement, followed by barre exercises to refine basic techniques, enhance strength, and improve flexibility. Center floor exercises focus on balance, coordination, and fluid movement across the floor. In addition to technique, dancers will explore various rhythms and musical timings, learning to interpret and respond to different pieces of music. The class concludes with structured opportunities for improvisation and creative expression, encouraging dancers to develop individuality and gain confidence. Through these activities, students will strengthen their stage presence and deepen their understanding of ballet as both a technical discipline and an expressive art form.

Ballet 3

● Ages 8-12yrs

Ballet 3 is designed for dancers aged 8 to 12, welcoming both beginners and those with prior ballet experience. This class focuses on building a strong foundation in ballet technique while encouraging growth in balance, coordination, and musicality. Each class begins with a comprehensive warm-up to prepare the body, followed by barre work to learn and practice foundational ballet positions and movements. Center exercises help improve balance and coordination, while traveling steps and combinations enhance spatial awareness and movement quality. The class ends with gentle stretching to maintain flexibility and prevent injury. This class is a perfect blend of technical development and creative expression for young dancers.

Ballet 4

● Ages 10+
​Monthly Tuition: $75
Ballet 4 is an intermediate-level classical ballet class designed for dancers aged 10 and older with prior ballet experience. This class focuses on expanding ballet vocabulary, refining technique, and cultivating musicality, strength, and artistry. Dancers will work on improving alignment, mastering more complex combinations, and developing performance quality and expressive movement. The class begins with a thorough warm-up to prepare the body for deeper movement. Barre exercises emphasize precision and progression, while center exercises challenge balance, coordination, and musicality. Traveling steps and combinations enhance spatial awareness and dynamic movement across the floor. The class concludes with gentle stretching to support flexibility and aid recovery. Ballet 4 fosters growth in both technical skill and artistic expression, equipping dancers for the challenges of advanced training.

Ballet 5

Thursday, 6pm - 7:30pm and Saturday, 11:15am - 12:45pm
​Ages 12+

​​Students are required to take both classes. ​
​Pointe is not required for Ballet 5 students.

​Monthly Tuition: $150
Ballet 5 is a neo-classical ballet class designed for dancers ready to deepen their training and broaden their technical and artistic range. This class emphasizes the continued development of ballet vocabulary and theory while introducing more complex barre and center combinations. Dancers begin with a full-body warm-up to prepare for movement, followed by focused barre work that builds precision, alignment, and control. Throughout the class, students are encouraged to apply concepts introduced at the barre to their work in the center. Center exercises explore rhythm, fluidity, and musical interpretation, while traveling combinations and allegro work develop spatial awareness, dynamic timing, stage presence, and performance quality. ​

Ballet 6  
Isadora Snapp
Tuesday, 3:45pm - 5:15pm and Saturday, 1:15pm - 3pm
​Ages 14+

​​Students are required to take both classes.
​
Pointe is not required for Ballet 6 students.

​Monthly Tuition: $155
Ballet 6 is a neo-classical ballet class designed for dancers with a strong ballet foundation. This comprehensive class includes barre, center, and across-the-floor work, focusing on increasingly complex combinations that challenge technique, control, and artistry. Dancers will deepen their musicality and performance quality while exploring classical variations, learning from guest teachers, and gaining insight into ballet history and its evolving forms.

Pointe

Pointe Preparation and Maintenance

Wednesday, 6:30pm - 7:30pm 
● Ages 11+
​PPM students must be enrolled in a weekly Ballet class.
​
​Monthly Tuition: $60
Pointe Prep and Maintenance focuses on building the strength, alignment, and body awareness necessary for safe and successful pointe training. Class includes targeted strengthening exercises for the feet, ankles, legs, and core, along with flexibility work and ballet technique drills that support proper placement and control. Dancers will work in flat shoes or socks as they develop the foundational skills needed to progress to pointe, and continuing students can use this class to maintain strength and prevent injury throughout their pointe training.

Pointe 1

Wednesday, 7:15pm - 8:30pm

​Pointe 1 students must be enrolled in Ballet 4 or Ballet 5. 
​
Monthly Tuition: $67
In their second year of pointe, dancers will begin to increase their center work while also adding exercises to their barre work. Dancers are required to enroll in Ballet 5 and will complete 1 day of Ballet 5 barre exercises in their pointe shoes to work on the articulation and placement of the ankle and feet while wearing pointe shoes.

Pointe 3-4

​Wednesday, 3:45pm - 4:45pm and Saturday, 3pm - 3:30pm

Students are required to take both weekly Pointe classes.
Students must be enrolled in Ballet 6.

Monthly Tuition: $97
Pointe 3-4 is a mixed-level class designed for intermediate and advanced pointe dancers. The class focuses on refining technique, building strength and control, and developing confidence in more complex pointe work. Dancers will work through challenging barre and center combinations, including turning sequences, traveling steps, and longer phrases that emphasize musicality and performance quality. This class supports continued growth in both technical skill and artistry, with modifications and progressions offered to meet dancers at their individual level.

Open Ballet

​Monthly Tuition: $75
Our Open Ballet class is perfect for teens and adults with prior ballet experience. This class offers a welcoming and inclusive environment where dancers can refine their skills, enhance their technique, and enjoy the beauty of ballet at their own pace.
