Tuition listed above covers a full 3-week summer session. Enrollment opens on March 1st and tuition must be paid in full by June 1st.
Families who register by March 15th can take advantage of our early-bird-pricing which is viewable upon enrollment. 
We are unable to offer scholarships for our summer session. 

CLASS DESCRIPTIONS 
BALLET
BALLET KIDZ

This fun and engaging ballet class for ages 6-8 is perfect for students who have completed Ballet 1 or 2 at CD&FS or for beginners without prior experience. Through creative movement and structured exercises, dancers will learn the basics of ballet technique, including posture, coordination, and musicality.

JUNIOR BALLET
​

Our summer Junior Ballet class is designed for dancers who have completed Ballet 3, or 4 with CD&FS. The class will continue to build on the foundations that were learned during the year. Students will focus on proper alignment, balance, and coordination through barre exercises, center work, and across-the-floor combinations.

OPEN BALLET

This open-level ballet class is designed for dancers ages 12 and up, including adults, who want to develop or refine their technique in a welcoming and supportive environment. The class will begin with a full body warm-up and continue with traditional barre work, center exercises, and across-the-floor combinations. This class offers a space to move, grow, and enjoy the beauty of ballet at your own pace. It is recommended that students have at least one year of ballet experience.
POINTE

This 30-minute multi-level pointe class is for dancers with at least two years of pointe experience. Following the Open Ballet class, it focuses on strength, alignment, and control through barre and center exercises.
ADULT BALLET

​Our Adult Ballet class is an open level neo-classical ballet class for dancers 18+ with prior ballet experience who want to refine their skills in a welcoming and supportive environment. We will focus on enhancing technique, improving strength and flexibility, and fostering a deeper appreciation for the art of ballet. With a blend of barre and center exercises, dancers will work on alignment, balance, and expressive movement.



HIP HOP
HIP HOP KIDZ

​Get ready to move, groove, and have fun in this high-energy hip-hop class for ages 6-8! Designed for young dancers with no prior experience, this class introduces the basics of hip-hop through fun choreography, creative movement, and rhythm-based exercises. It’s the perfect class for kids who love to dance, express themselves, and have a blast!

JUNIOR HIP HOP

This high-energy Jr Hip-Hop class for ages 9-13 introduces dancers to the fundamentals of hip-hop through fun choreography, footwork, and freestyle movement. Dancers will build confidence, coordination, musicality, and free-style kills. This class is perfect for both beginners and dancers who have completed either our Jr HipHop 1/2 or 3/4 classes.

JAZZ
​JAZZ KIDZ
​

Jazz Kidz is a fun and energetic class for children ages 6-8. It is perfect for beginners with no prior dance experience or students who completed one year of Jazz Kidz at CD&FS. Through upbeat music and playful choreography, dancers will learn the basics of jazz technique, including kicks, turns, and footwork.

JUNIOR JAZZ

​The Junior Jazz class is perfect for dancers with at least one year of experience who want to refine their technique. Through warm-ups and challenging combinations, students will improve their footwork, coordination, and rhythm while focusing on precision and musicality. Suited for students who have completed at least 1 year of Jr Jazz 1/2 or Jr Jazz 3/4.

SASSY JAZZ

Get ready to bring the attitude and energy in this Sassy Jazz class for intermediate dancers ages 16+! Start with a dynamic warm-up focused on classic jazz technique, strength, and flexibility, then dive into a bold, spicy routine each week. Expect fierce movements, sharp accents, and plenty of personality.


MODERN & CONTEMPORARY
MODERN KIDZ

The Modern Kidz class for ages 6-8 is an engaging introduction to modern dance, where play and creativity come together. This class emphasizes modern dance's "serious" play through dance games, improvisation, and structured movement exploration. Young dancers will develop coordination, self-expression, and body awareness as they learn foundational modern dance techniques in a fun and supportive environment. Suitable for beginners or dancers who have completed our Modern Kidz class.

JUNIOR MODERN

​Explore the fundamentals of modern dance in this energetic class. Dancers will learn dynamic movement patterns, floor work, improvisation, and choreography while building strength, flexibility, and confidence. Focusing on creativity and musicality, this class encourages students to move freely, develop their unique style, and deepen their understanding of modern dance techniques. It is open to students who have completed a junior 1/2 or junior 3/4 class at CD&FS. Previous experience with modern dance is not needed.
INTERMEDIATE MODERN

​This Intermediate Modern class for teens and adults focuses on building strong foundational modern dance technique with an emphasis on floor work. Designed for dancers with at least one year of experience, the class will explore fluid movement, strength, and control while developing flexibility and body awareness.


ADVANCED CONTEMPORARY

This Advanced Contemporary class for dancers ages 13+ is designed for those with strong technical backgrounds who want to deepen their movement exploration. The class will include improvisation, technical exercises, and free-flowing traveling combinations to challenge both body and creativity.


TAP
TAP KIDZ

​The Tap Kidz class uses dance games, basic tap steps, and playful movement to develop coordination, rhythm, and musicality. Through structured exercises and rhythmic games, young dancers will explore tap sounds, build footwork skills, and gain confidence in expressing themselves through percussive movement. Open to students new to dance and those who have completed our Tap Kidz class.

JUNIOR TAP

​The Junior Tap class is for dancers with at least one year of tap experience who want to refine their technique. Students will improve their footwork, timing, and coordination through focused exercises and more advanced steps. This class emphasizes precision and musicality. Suited best for students who have completed at least one year of Jr Tap 1/2 or Jr Tap 3-4.


WORKSHOPS WITH CARISSA
- JUNE 6TH -
JUNIOR MUSICAL THEATER 

​Junior Musical Theater will bring your Broadway jazz skills to life through acting and storytelling. In this class, dancers will explore choreography set to songs from beloved musicals. Each class begins with a short warm-up before jumping into choreography, where students will learn to express character and emotion through movement. 
OPEN JUMPS, LEAPS, AND TURNS
​

Jumps, Leaps, and Turns will begin with a dynamic warm-up and targeted strengthening exercises to improve balance, power, and control. Dancers will progress through stationary and traveling turns, as well as jumps and leaps across the floor. Along the way, you’ll gain valuable tips and techniques to enhance your skills in other classes. We’ll also explore the mechanics behind these magnificent movements, giving you a deeper understanding of the science that makes them possible.
MUSICAL THEATER TAP

Musical Theater Tap brings the excitement of Broadway to the dance studio! Dancers will step into the world of classic production numbers from shows like 42nd Street, Anything Goes, and Singin’ in the Rain. Class begins with a short warm-up before diving into choreography that captures the energy and style of musical theater tap. Get ready for an upbeat, high-energy experience that will have you singing, dancing, and inspired for a movie musical marathon at home!



OTHER
FULL BODY STRETCH

​This Full Body Stretch class, designed for teens and adults, combines the mindful flow of yoga with a dancer's approach to movement. Through slow, guided stretches and choreographed sequences, students will gently lengthen and release tension. Focusing on flexibility, mobility, and relaxation, this class offers a peaceful yet invigorating experience, perfect for improving range of motion and calming both body and mind. Suitable for all levels.
