attend all classes, and let us know if you/your student will be absent. Other performance-related notes: • The dates of our May Performance are Friday, May 17th - Sunday, May 19th. I apologize for the typo in our mailing. • The website Performance Page is updated with all scheduling requirements. • Volunteers! Our show cannot run without our fantastic group of volunteers. Please see HERE for job descriptions, fill out our Volunteer Interest Form, and contact Allison Mann at [email protected] for more information and to be assigned a job. Tickets for our May Performance will go on sale March 11th at 3:30pm. All ticket sales will be handled by CD&FS. They may be purchased in person, over the phone, or through email and must be paid for at the time of reservation. Adults $22, Students/Seniors/Active Duty Military $20, Children 12 and under, $16. Our 4-week Summer Class Schedule is here, and registration is open! To lock in our early-bird rate, enroll for classes by March 15th. Thank you to everyone who attended the Teen Jazz Tour Preview. It was a fabulous evening, and we met our fundraising goals. You can view the show on our YouTube page if you missed it. Our next performance opportunity is the March Works-In-Progress Showing. • WHEN: March 16th. The first showing is at 6:00pm. The second showing is at 7:30pm. • WHERE: Studio B • TICKETS: We will not be doing online event registration for this show. Email [email protected] with your name, number of tickets, and the showing you would like to reserve tickets for (ex: Snapp, 3 tickets, 6:00pm showing). Cash and check will be accepted at the door. Suggested donation is $15/adults and $10/kids. All proceeds go to Teen Jazz Company. •PERFORMERS: If they haven’t already, teachers will speak to their classes about performance participation during the week of March 4th. Classes performing will be notified by email with their rehearsal time by March 10th. Looking Up. On Saturday, March 23rd, Pre-Primary 1 through Primary 2 dancers will be invited to observe and participate in a class with older students in Studio B. Dancers who attend will receive a flower, a Hershey’s Kiss, and a special sticker. The schedule is below: Pre-Primary 1 Dancers are invited to Ballet 3. March 23rd, 9:45-10:00am. Pre-Primary 2 Dancers are invited to Ballet 4. March 23rd, 10:35-10:50am. Primary 1 Dancers are invited to Ballet 4. March 23rd, 10:30-10:45am Primary 2 Dancers are invited to Ballet 1. March 23rd, 12:30-12:45pm. For our Teen and Adult dancers, we are hosting a 4-week Burlesque Basics Series taught by Linda River Valente on Saturdays, March 9th through 30th, from 2:00-3:00pm. About the class: Pleasure heals! Pose, peel, twirl, tease, and celebrate enduring sensuality! Dancers must be 18 years and older to participate. Join us for one class or the full series. $14/class. We will have sweatshirts, sweatpants, and T-shirts. We have extended our T-shirt design contest deadline to March 15th. Please pick up a design paper at the front desk. The winner will have their design printed on limited edition 50th anniversary T-shirts. We will have these for sale at CD&FS through the end of this session and during our anniversary celebrations in June. The winner will also receive a free t-shirt and a $20 class credit.
